    Superb

This is a family-run hotel in a charming town with the level of service and attentiveness one expects from a dedicated hotelier. The breakfast was comprehensive and the quiet location was ideal for relaxation. We chose the special Midieval dinner, and the main was perfectly delightful. Definitely an unique place to stay.

There were so many nests of dried flowers, silk flowers and bowls of potpouri, that, when combined with the taxidermy, made for a rather cluttered, unrestful, dusty sort of feeling. Our room (5) was dated, but comfortable and incredibly large. There was no shower in the (very large) bath, but this is regrettably normal for the area.

    Superb

Hotel Cosy has a charming atmosphere with wonderful views across the valley toward the medieval Castle. It's nestled in a beautiful community where it is easy to relax and enjoy the day.

We took the bus to Boullion and were dropped off in the lower portion of town near the river. Hotel Cosy is a 15 minute walk up a steep hill, which was a bit challenging with luggage.

    Exceptional

The ambiance at the hotel. One feels very welcome, a place where one can discuss with one's family at yet not disturb others. It is a very private place with excellent service of the staff.

Beautiful location; helpful and friendly staff; lovely views

There was nothing we didn't like about the hotel; although loud music from a nearby event until nearly dawn was a bit of an irritant

For the price that I paid, I did not expect to get such a fantastic view from my room. Attentiveness of the personnel and free breakfast were plus points to the wonderful stay.

    Very good

Good view from the hotel, even if our room was not on the right side. Nice breakfast! Good bathroom. Clean room.

We would have liked to have breakfast in the terrace, that was closed up to summer.

    Good

Spectacular position and good breakfast. BBC1 available on TV

Too many steps and no lift. Wifi advertised but not available. Despite marvellous position overlooking castle and city, our room had no appreciable view.

    Fabulous

The hotel had a nice view of the downtown and castle. A few feet down the road there are steps that take you to the main road. The room size was sufficient with a very clean bathroom and toilet. There was enough room for an extra bed for our 6yr-old. The breakfast was great. Alot of options and plenty. Oh, the owners spoke English.

It was suppose to have wifi but not during our stay. Broken they said. It was ok. Just would have been nice. The hotel is old, can use updating, but still very clean. Don't let the oldness turn you off. For us this was no problem but if you didn't drive or can't walk up/down stairs this isn't the hotel for you. It's a good walk uphill and the steps are steep.

    Exceptional

Lovely family run hotel, very cozy, beautiful interior design and attentive kind hosts, great food. In the room a good plumber, TV, DVD, Wi-fi fast, very comfortable bed and linens, spectacular views of the magical city. Thank you very much.

The hotel is situated on a hill to climb with heavy luggage, no elevator. But it does not matter. We want to go back.

    Very good

The view from the room was spectacular. The breakfast was tasty, and it was possible to have individually prepared omelets. The staff spoke English. And the directions for walking down to Boullon were clear. The man at reception volunteered to help us with our luggage.

We were on the top floor, and there were a lot of very narrow steps to navigate. We were only staying a night, so we didn't have much luggage, but a big bag would have been difficult. The hotel is in the process of building an elevator to go up the two flights of stairs from the street to the restaurant, and this will ultimately reduce the ease of access to the restaurant, but there are still a lot of additional steps to climb to reach the bedrooms. Also, when we mentioned that a light bulb needed replacing in one of the lamps in the room, we were told that the hotel belonged to the receptionist's father-in-law and he would ask him to replace it. This did not help us much! Also, there is handrail on only part of the many steps going from the hotel road to the town center. We took the steps when it was daylight, but we were wary of going up the steps in the dark. Walking up the hill on the road is much safer.
